Thirst Fitness – Terms & Conditions
1. Membership Details
1.1 Duration and Renewal
Memberships are available as:

Pay-As-You-Go sessions
-
5- and 10-Class Packs (check for expiry period)

Monthly Direct Debit (auto-renewing on the same day each month)

Annual Paid-in-Full
Direct Debit memberships renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with the terms below.
Direct Debit Membership Session Allocation
Direct Debit memberships are allocated monthly, with session entitlements resetting on the 1st of every month.

Example: A membership that enables 2 sessions per week will have 9 bookings available from 1st of the month, with 3 sessions per week enabling 13 bookings from the 1st of the month.

Unused sessions do not roll over to the following month.

It is the member’s responsibility to book and attend sessions within the allocated period, how the member uses them is entirely up to the member.
1.2 Cancellation of Membership

Monthly Direct Debit memberships may be cancelled with a minimum of 14 days’ notice prior to the next billing date.

Annual memberships are non-refundable after the statutory 14-day cooling-off period, unless exceptional circumstances apply.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or through the Thirst Fitness member portal.

Monthly members may freeze their membership for up to 1 month per calendar year.

1.4 Refund Policy
Thirst Fitness does not provide refunds on memberships once payment has been taken. This includes:

Drop-in sessions

Class packs (5 or 10 sessions)

Monthly Direct Debit memberships
The only exception is for Annual Paid-in-Full memberships, which are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Members may cancel within this period for a full refund, provided no sessions have been attended.

Outside of this statutory requirement, no refunds will be granted for any reason, including non-attendance, change of mind, or relocation.

If a payment fails or is not received, booking access will be suspended until the payment is resolved.

Members are required to wipe down equipment after use.

Personal towels and water bottles are encouraged.

3.3 Behavioural Expectations
All members must:

Show respect to staff and other members

Avoid disruptive or aggressive behaviour

Follow instructor guidance at all times
Breaches of these expectations may result in disciplinary action.
3.4 Prohibited Items
The following are not permitted on the premises:

Smoking or vaping

Alcohol or illegal substances

Chewing gum on the training floor

Jewellery
3.5 Parking (HQ Location)

Thirst Fitness provides 7 on-site parking spaces, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

If these are full, members must park in the surrounding streets or industrial estate safely and considerately.

Please respect our neighbours by not parking in the allocated spaces for Doors & Windows at any time.

Thirst Fitness accepts no responsibility or liability for:

Parking tickets or fines

Loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or belongings whether parked on-site or elsewhere

4. Health and Safety
4.1 Liability Waiver
By participating in Thirst Fitness classes, you acknowledge the inherent risks of physical activity.

Members are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit to participate in each session.

Members must update their PAR-Q information if their physical or mental health changes during their membership.
4.2 Induction and Training

Staff are trained in basic first aid and emergency procedures.

4.5 Personal Belongings & CCTV

CCTV operates on-site at all times for safety and security.

Thirst Fitness Ltd accepts no liability for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings at the HQ facility or Plympton Tennis Courts.

Members are encouraged to keep valuables secure and avoid leaving items unattended.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

6. Dispute Resolution

7. Cancellation & Booking Policy
7.1 Class Cancellations

Bookings may be cancelled up to 4 hours before the scheduled class start time.

Cancellations within this window will result in the session being forfeited.

No refunds, rollovers, or penalties are applied.

7.2 Late Arrivals

Members arriving more than 15 minutes late may be refused entry if participation disrupts the class.

Late arrivals will be treated as a missed session and will not be refunded or credited.
7.3 Minimum Class Attendance Requirement (effective February 2026)
From February 2026, any class that has 4 or fewer participants booked at the point of 12 hours prior to the scheduled start time will be automatically cancelled.

Both clients and the allocated coach will receive an automatic cancellation notification.

This policy does not apply to outdoor Boot Camp sessions. In the event that an outdoor Boot Camp session has four or fewer participants, those members will be automatically transferred to the indoor class running at our HQ at the corresponding time.

In the event of a cancellation, no session credit will be deducted from members’ accounts.
